How do I become a member of The Hire Syndicate?
First, we request you apply. We’ll email you to arrange a phone consultation with a specialist who will get a sense of your needs, and give you an overview of how to create Pods and use our tools for Real Time Recruiting™.
How long does it take to get approved?
Our goal is to get back to you within 48 hours. Although our vetting process takes a little time, it’s how we maintain our high standards of membership.
Can you place me in a Pod?
This community is currently designed as a closed system – for members to form Pods with colleagues they know, and have invited into their Pods. However, for version 1.0, we will be introducing a “public” and “private” setting for Pods, effectively allowing members to join public Pods.
How can I utilize The Hire Syndicate to amplify my split recruiting network?
Be proactive. If you are interested in working with a recruiter you have met either virtually or in person, start a one-on-one Pod with them. One-on-one Pods allow new split partners to get a feel for one another’s recruiting focus and strengths. Pods also grow organically, so if a professional relationship in a one-on-one Pod is working, than start inviting other split partners to join the Pod. LinkedIn, ERE.net, and MRI are examples of professional communities where you can connect with recruiters interested in sharing placements.
What is a Pod, anyway?
The Pod concept is unique to The Hire Syndicate. A Pod is a group of recruiters who work together based on mutual interests, industry specialty, geographic location, or professional relationships. Working with likeminded members leads to greater collaboration opportunities that are more relevant to you.
How do I start a Pod?
It’s easy to do right from your dashboard. Name your Pod, give it a description, and invite current members of The Hire Syndicate or anyone in your personal network who you’d like to invite to join. Upon acceptance to The Hire Syndicate, you will receive instructions providing detailed “how-to’s” of the platform.
Does The Hire Syndicate take a percentage of deals?
No. We want you to keep your hard-earned deal money.
How do members share fees on split deals?
We recommend 50/50 splits, but we leave it up to you. As a courtesy, we will provide standardized split-fee recruiting contract templates for our members.
Why is my Widget or Mobile App empty?
If you haven’t hooked up with a Pod yet, that’s your answer. The remedy is to invite some people in your existing network to join so you can start communicating and sharing job orders. On the other hand, it may be a technical glitch. Check your dashboard controls, then contact technical support..
